Soccer

Money line wagering on soccer offers a 3 way line, both teams and a Draw line. In the event of a draw example: (1-1), all bets placed on either of the teams (sides) will be graded as losers and only the bets placed on the draw line will be graded as winners. This rule does not apply to bets made on the spread line.

The result of the game is decided after 90 minutes of game time plus injury time. Extra time / overtime / golden goal are not taken into consideration for soccer bets unless otherwise stipulated.

If any match is abandoned or postponed, all bets will be considered “no action” unless the relevant marker result has already happened, for example, "first goal scorer" betting will stand if a goal has already been scored.

Where a venue is changed, bets will stand unless the game is to be played at the original away team's ground in which case all bets will be void. Second half wagers are for the regulation 45 minutes of play plus injury time, which does not include overtime or penalty shootout.

Baseball

Dime Line - Maximum wager $500 - Regular Season Only

Baseball General Rules Official Game

Any bets made on the side (moneyline) are official after 5 innings of play unless the home team is winning after 4 ½ innings. If a game is cancelled or suspended, the score after the last full inning determines the winner. If the home team scores to tie - or takes the lead in the bottom half of the inning— the score at the time the game is cancelled determines the winner. All wagers will be refunded if the home team ties the game and it is then suspended. Events will not carry over to the following day (unless otherwise specified). BetMania does not recognize suspended games, protests, overturned decisions, etc. for betting purposes.

When betting on the total runs (over/under) or the runlines, the game must go 9 innings (8 ½ if the home team is winning) to have action. Totals will always be “listed pitchers”, wagers on totals or individual team total runs will be refunded if a pitcher change occurs prior to both listed pitchers throwing at least one pitch.

Game must be played on scheduled date and site.

Overnight baseball

Due to scheduling changes, weather conditions, etc an overnight game may become a part of a doubleheader. When this occurs, unless both pitchers from the overnight matchup start in GAME 1, the original matchup from overnight will be treated as an off pitcher matchup. Game 2 will be treated as a completely 'new' matchup.

Pitcher Selection Baseball

Every Baseball line-part (FG 1st 5 Innings) except for the Full Game Money Line is ALWAYS LISTED PITCHERS

Baseball wagers will be accepted in the following manner:

Action: Team against team, regardless of the starting pitcher. "Action" bets will be adjusted to the new openening line with the new pitcher, the risk remains the same. A pitcher is considered a starting pitcher after throwing one pitch.

One specified pitcher: A wager on a specific pitcher can be the pitcher for the same team the customer’s betting, or the other team’s pitcher.

Listed pitchers: A wager that specifies both starting pitchers as advertised. If the starting pitchers are not the ones listed on our betting display board and/or your ticket, your bet will be graded as "no action".

MLB Betting - PROPS

MLB – SERIES

All Bets on the series are based on the FIRST 3 GAMES PLAYED of each series. Neither team can play another opponent between scheduled games. If one of the first three games gets postponed, all wagers are considered no action, unless one team is ahead 2-0, in which case that team will be the winner of the series.

All wagers are action. No listed pitchers.

MLB - First Half

Bets are based on the score in the first 5 FULL INNINGS. If after the first 5 full innings the game is not completed, all bets made on the 1st half will have action.

All bets are based on listed pitchers.

MLB - Second Half

Bets are based on the score from the top of the 6th inning till the end of the game. The game must be a complete game (i.e. 9 innings, or 8½ innings if the home team is ahead). All 2nd half Wagers include extra innings.

All wagers are action, doesn’t matter who is pitching.

MLB - Total Hits Runs and Errors HRE

It has to be a full game - 9 innings to have action (8½ if the home team is ahead).

All wagers are based on listed pitchers.

MLB - Team to score first

First team to score in the game, if there is a score already on the game, and the game gets cancelled or postponed, all wagers stand regardless of how many innings were played.

MLB - Team to score last

The game has to be a complete game. Listed pitchers must start.

MLB - Will there be a run scored in the first inning

If a there is a run on the first inning, and the game gets cancelled or postponed, all wagers stand. If the first inning is complete and no runs were scored, it will be a push and all wagers will be refunded.

Listed pitchers must start.

MLB - Strikeouts by Team

The game must go at least 5 full innings for all wagers to take action, otherwise all wagers will be cancelled. If a match is shortened before completion, 5 complete innings were already played, then the strikeouts are only recorded to the last full inning, for example if a Match is called after 7.5 innings, all strikeouts will be recorded for the 7 complete innings.

MLB - Baseball Team Total

The game has to go 9 full innings to have action. (8½ if the home team is winning).

Listed pitchers must start.

MLB - 2 1/2 Runlines/Alternative Runlines and Team to have more home runs

Listed pitchers must start. The game has to be official. All wagers are based on listed pitchers. The game must go the full 5 innings for action.

Basketball

Official Game Time

The NBA is considered official after 43 minutes of play and the College (NCAA) 35 minutes of play. If the official time of play is not concluded, a bet on the team is treated as no action, and a parlay bets will be reduced accordingly.

All games must be played on scheduled date and site.

International Basketball: Straight wagers ONLY.

Football

All wagers will be considered official after 55 minutes of play. If there’s less than 55 minutes of game time when the game is cancelled or suspended, all wagers on the game will be deemed “no action”, Parlay bets will be reduced accordingly.

Bets on 1st, 2nd half and all quarters will be considered action upon completion of the period in question. Bets on the spread, money line, totals for the whole game and all bets made on the 2nd half will include overtime. Fourth quarter wagers don’t include Over Time.

Game must be played on scheduled date and site.

NFL Betting Props

NFL-SCORE FIRST in the game: First team to score in the game. If one team scores and the game gets cancelled or postponed afterwards, all wagers will have action regardless of how many minutes have been played.

NFL-SCORE LAST in the game: Must be an official game (55 minutes of play). If the game goes into overtime, the team that scores last will be the winner.

NFL-SCORE IN THE FIRST 7 ½ MINUTES: 7½ minutes must be played. If the game is cancelled or postponed after 7½ minutes of play all bets have action.

NFL-TOTAL 1st HALF POINTS vs. TOTAL 2nd HALF POINTS: Must be an official game (55 minutes of play) and the 2nd half includes overtime.

NFL-FIRST SCORING PLAY (touchdown or FG/safety): If a team scores and the game is cancelled or postponed afterwards, all wagers stand regardless of how many minutes have been played.

3 UNANSWERED SCORES: Extra points or 2 point conversions do NOT count.

PLAYER PROPS: All players must take the field and play for action. Results are based on the official stats from the game. A kicker who does not participate, due to shutout, but is suited up and available is considered to have played.

Rugby

Betting Payouts will be based on the official declared result. When a draw option is offered, the bet is decided on the result at regulation time, no extra time is included.

Straight wagers ONLY.

Hockey

The game becomes official (action) after 55 minutes of play.

Goals scored during overtime are included for wagers on the game, but are not included on wagers for the 3 rd period.

If a game requires a shoot-out to determine the winner, one goal will be awarded to the winner for the final score (regardless of how many goals scored in the shoot-out) which will be recognized for the total goals scored as well as the winning team.

Game must be played on scheduled date and site.

NHL Betting Periods

The full 20 minutes of the period must be played to have action.

NHL Overtime Line

Bets on NHL overtime line are for the complete overtime, regardless of how many overtime periods are played and will include a shoot-out if required to determine the winner.

NHL 3-Way and European Ice Hockey (Draw line quote)

NHL 3 way and European Ice Hockey is settled without overtime (60 minutes of play) for the main quote (Away/Home/Draw). This option does NOT include overtime or a shootout.

International Hockey: Straight wagers ONLY.

Boxing

Boxing Lines on All Major Title Fights

Straight money line betting as well as total rounds and proposition bets. A betting match is official after the sound of the bell that starts the 1st round.

Example: 4 1/2 rounds means four full rounds plus ninety seconds of the fifth round.

All results are official by the result of the governing body on the day of the fight.

If a price is offered for a draw: in the event of a draw all bets on either boxer to win will be losers.

In round by round betting: if a boxer fails to answer the bell, the fight will be deemed to have ended in the previous round.

If the scheduled number of rounds is changed all "Pick the round" bets are void and bets refunded.

All bets on either boxer to win will be decided by judges’ decision, which includes points, Technical knockout (TKO), Knockout (KO) or disqualification.

Where a match is abandoned or postponed, but fought within 14 days of the original scheduled date, all bets stand. Once the 14 days have expired, all bets are void and a new line will be posted to pager on.

Racing

Postponements:

If a race or qualifier is cancelled or postponed for any reason, all wagers will remain valid for 48 hours. If the postponement lasts more than 48 hours, all wagers will be cancelled and all wagers on the event/driver will be refunded.

Motor Racing and NASCAR Betting General Rules

There are two main ways to bet on NASCAR and other motor racing events. Either on the out-right winner of the race or on the winner of a predetermined matchup.

Betting on the field means all drivers that are not listed on the win-outright prices.

Example:
(Straight Wager): Jeff Gordon 1/1 or 100 to win 100
Dale Jarrett 2/1 or 100 to win 200
Mark Martin 2/1 or 100 to win 200
Mark Skinner 5/2 or 100 to win 250
Dale Ernhardt 7/5 or 100 to win 140

Betting on the field means all drivers that are not listed on the win-outright prices.

To win the race: 60% of the starting field must start the race for action.

Top 3 (podium) finishes: 80% of the starting field must start for action.

Drivers Matchups: Both drivers must start the race for action.

Straight wagers ONLY.

Tennis

At BetMania we accept bets on all major tennis events using straight money lines.

Example:
Sharapova -140 or risk $140 to win $100
Venus Williams +120 or risk $100 to win $120

BetMania provides proposition bets on individual matches or sets. Betting must be fully completed without player’s withdrawal, incapacity or disqualification for bets to stand. If a match is rescheduled due to scheduling, weather problems, bad light, etc. then all bets will have action and all wagers will stand.

All tennis future bets are placed as *"All In"* unless otherwise stated. If a player withdraws before participating, then all bets on that player are settled as a LOSS.

Golf

Betting On All Major Golfing Events

Straight money line betting as well as match-ups.

Betting right up until tee-off time.

In head-to-head match-ups, both golfers must tee-off in order to have action. If one player misses the cut, his opponent is deemed the winner. If both players miss the cut the lower score wins. If both players have the same score, then all wagers are refunded.

Special Handicap Head To Heads

If a player withdraws after tee off or misses the cut the player who plays the most holes wins. Playoffs do not count for handicap bets.

To Win a Tournament

All bets are treated as "All In". All players quoted have action regardless if a player withdraws before the tournament begins and are settled as a loss.

In the event of a tie where 3 or more competitors are offered in one betting option, the payout will be divided by the number of players tied. For example 2 players tie for the Top USA player at the British Open will result in the normal payout given divided by 2.

If a tournament is shortened, after it has started, then all bets stand. Bets accepted after the end of a day’s play are void unless there is further play, which counts towards the result of the tournament (other than a playoff). Or the betting is specifically stated to be on the outcome of a playoff.

If a tournament is officially abandoned, all bets on the tournament are void, except options that have already been decided.

Mixed Martial Arts

A "Draw" is an official outcome whereby neither of the contestants is deemed to have won the bout, essentially a'tie'.

A "No Contest" is an official outcome whereby neither contestant is deemed to have won the bout as a result of the fight being declared "No Action" by the referee.

All matches must start within 7 days of originally scheduled time for wagers to have action.

If the status of the fight is changed from a title fight to a non-title fight for any reason, all wagers placed will have Action.

If the rounds of a fight is reduced, all wagers on totals will have Action.

If the number of rounds of a fight is reduced, any prop wagers involving number of rounds will be settled as No Action.

Straight wagers ONLY.

Cricket

At least one ball must be bowled for bets to stand; otherwise all bets will be cancelled. However, if a match is officially abandoned (e.g. due to dangerous pitch conditions) then all undecided bets on the match are void.

For batting or bowling head-to-heads, both batsmen must reach the crease, or both bowlers must bowl one ball for bets to stand, otherwise all bets are void and wagers refunded.

In one-day matches shortened by weather the outcome will be that determined by the Competition Rules. If the match is declared a 'no-result' all bets are void and wagers refunded.

Betting on Australian domestic cricket is based on the most points awarded in the match.
